DocuPub Platform Overview

The Vuzit DocuPub Platform gives you control over your documents online. When you convert a document to a PDF file and post it to your website or send it as an email attachment, you lose control over that document. PDFs can be converted into editable files (for free) in minutes, so you can't control the content. Nor can you track who reads that document, when and which pages.

Restrict the editing, printing, forwarding and downloading of 40 different document and file types, share them in a browser-embedded document viewer that does not require plug-ins, and manage them via an extensive set of standards-based development tools and web-based dashboard. The Vuzit DocuPub Platform consists of three feature-rich components:

1. 100% AJAX embedded document viewer providing features such as configurable page navigation and zoom levels, customized branding, keyword search, detailed document analytics and more
2. Development toolset including open source client libraries such as PHP, Ruby, Java and .NET, documentation, sample code, APIs, and web services
3. Web-based dashboard application for managing files stored online (upload, rename, configure options, delete, etc.) and debugging applications

The Vuzit DocuPub Platform is a multi-tenant SaaS system optimized for a cloud computing infrastructure that enables you to scale your document storage and document processing bandwidth needs within minutes to meet demand without disrupting real-time production. By leveraging on-demand scalability and SAS 70 Type II-compliant security from Amazon Web Services^™ and SSL, Vuzit provides top-notch availability and security for viewing and storing documents. We offer three SaaS subscription levels to the Vuzit DocuPu Platform for commercial development. Choose the subscription that meets your development and budget requirements. The Vuzit DocuPub Platform can also be licensed as on-premise, installed software.
