Viewing Documents

What kind of documents can I view?

Currently you can convert PDF files. Microsoft Office tools are coming as well. If you would like to see another file type added please post to the forum and request it.

Will there be other documents supported?

We will be adding the ability to view many different file types. Please check back often to see this feature, and many others, added!

What is the maximum file size I can convert?

The free accounts are currently limited to 50 MB or 300 pages, whichever comes first. The commercial version of Vuzit has distinct limits set for each plan.

What happens to a document once it is submitted?

Each PDF is stored for an indefinite time. Feel free to link to the page without any inhibitions! Cool URIs don't change.

I accidentally uploaded a document onto the web that is PRIVATE! What should I do now?

If you wish to keep your documents private in the future, you need to sign up for a Vuzit account first. If you loaded a document in the public domain by accident, simply contact us at support@vuzit.com and we can take it down for you.

Can I print documents with Vuzit?

Yes, printing is achieved by downloading the original document (e.g. press the Download button) and then selecting the Print option in the native file viewer.

Does Vuzit support any keyboard shortcuts?

Yes. The mouse must be located over the viewer in order for the shortcuts to work. The shortcuts are a combination of commands used by many popular programs including the vim text editor.
